Hi I have a serious problem running metaioSDK 4.5 pc SDK which made me struggle for days. I am now using visual studio 2010 pro. The example is "Example_Qt" Here is the error message.

I searched the web and found qt was embedded into this project. But no one has solved this kind of problem of MSB6006: "cmd.exe" exited with code 3. By the way, there is a code like the below imagealt text

When I point my mouse to the include, it says "Can't open source file Qt_Gui". I think I should install Qt_creator to run this program. But it doesn't help.

Could anyone save me from the hell? Many thanks

Looks like you don't have Qt installed (4.8.4) or the environment variable QTDIR isn't set (must be set to C:\Qt\4.8.4, for example).

cheers,

Thanks. But there is no documentation said I should install QT. So How do I know? Should I install this one? Qt libraries 4.8.4 for Windows (VS 2010, 234 MB)

yes, exactly that one. thanks for pointing this out, i'll adjust the docs. if you don't want to use Qt as GUI library you can also runv the minimum "Example" and "Example_CustomRenderer" which will only use MFC for GUI.

I'm not sure if this is maximally useful, but this page came up first for me while trying to trouble-shoot my problem with the 5.5.2 SDK. You can find old versions of QT here: ( http://download.qt-project.org/development_releases/qt/ )...to make sure you get the right version of QT that Metaio says you should use. Took me forever to find!
